Job summary

HeadFirst/Impellam Group in the UK is seeking an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our People Team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. The role is based in Luton or Manchester with hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

You will manage complex employee relations cases end-to-end, advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management and TUPE transfers, and support organisational change including restructures and redundancies, delivering

Qualifications

  • Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations casework independently.
  • Strong redundancy experience, including consultation processes and organisational change activities.
  • Practical experience supporting TUPE transfers from planning through to implementation.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering a high-quality advisory service.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple worker populations, business units or employment types would be highly advantageous.

  • Providing expert guidance on TUPE transfers and consultation processes.
  • End to end management of ACAS early conciliation cases, including COT3 agreements.
  • Building effective relationships with managers and stakeholders to drive positive employee relations outcomes.
  • Delivering practical, legally compliant advice in line with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Supporting manager capability through coaching and training.

HR Advisor (Employee Relations) (9 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Luton or Manchester

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our People Team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

This is an opportunity for an experienced ER professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex employee relations matters across a diverse workforce. Working within a collaborative and highly experienced team, you'll provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to managers and stakeholders across multiple business areas.

What You'll Be Doing
