Job summary

BMW Group in Farnborough is offering a 13-month HR placement within the HR Leadership Partnering team. You will gain valuable exposure to HR partnering, employee relations, HR operations, reporting, policy application and project activity.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an HR or business-related degree, enjoy working with MS Office, and are keen to contribute ideas, manage priorities, and build relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent organisation and time-management capabilities
• Clear, effective communication with a range of stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support HR colleagues with a broad range of operational HR activity, including liaising with centralised HR teams, local departments and internal stakeholders to resolve day-to-day queries.
• Undertake ad-hoc HR-related projects to support the HR team across Recruitment, Planning, Policies and Processes, and Talent Development.
• Produce letters using templates for HR requirements within agreed timescales (e.g., attendance, discipline, capability, consultations).
• Prepare monthly reporting and data for topics such as absence, secondments and contract end dates.
• Take notes at investigation, disciplinary, capability and performance meetings.
• Support the induction process for new employees, including interns, apprentices and graduates.
• Gain exposure to how HR supports leaders and colleagues across the employee lifecycle.
