Job summary

BMW Group in Farnborough is offering a 13-month HR placement. You will join the HR Leadership Partnering team, gaining exposure to employee relations, HR operations, reporting, policy application and project activity.

You will support HR colleagues, undertake ad-hoc projects, prepare letters, and contribute to monthly reporting, while developing a strong foundation for a future HR career.

Qualifications

• Studying an HR degree, or a business degree that benefits from HR experience.
• Strong MS Office skills and proficient communication with stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
• Confident, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support HR colleagues with operational activity across centralised and local teams.
• Undertake ad-hoc HR projects across Recruitment, Planning, Policies and Talent Development.
• Produce letters to employees within agreed timescales (attendance, discipline, capability).
• Prepare monthly reports on attendance, absence, secondments and contract end dates.
• Take notes at investigations, disciplinary, capability and performance meetings.
• Assist with induction processes for interns, apprentices and graduates.
