Job summary

HRM Homecare Services Ltd is seeking an organised HR Officer to support recruitment, onboarding and employee relations across the business. The role offers CIPD study support, a broad HR remit and opportunities to develop skills within a growing function.

Sponsored travel for recruitment events may be required; a full UK driving licence is needed. The position is office-based with travel to events and services.

Qualifications

• A relevant HR qualification, such as CIPD or a degree with an HR component, and/or demonstrable HR experience.
• An understanding of UK employment legislation and the ability to handle confidential information carefully.
• Confidence using workforce data and digital systems.
• Sound judgement, attention to detail and the confidence to challenge constructively.
• An organised, approachable manner and the ability to follow actions through.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for recruitment events and occasional travel.
• Social care experience is welcome, but transferable HR experience is equally relevant.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, interview candidates and represent HRM at recruitment events
• Coordinate employment onboarding and safe recruitment checks
• Support employee relations cases with accurate records, correspondence and practical manager support
• Keep HR records and workforce reports accurate, monitor compliance and elevate unresolved concerns
• Work alongside our Staff Development Officer and operational teams, providing independent HR oversight of people-management and workforce-development compliance
