Job summary

Zenith recruitment seeks an experienced HR Officer to support the HR Manager in delivering site HR services aligned with group policies and legal requirements. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training, and employee relations to ensure consistent application of procedures.

Graduates with CIPD Level 7 (or studying) and at least 3 years in a generalist HR role, preferably in manufacturing, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate calibre with CIPD qualification or working towards Level 7.
• Minimum 3 years generalist HR experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and HRIS systems.
• Strong communication, influencing and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support HR Manager to ensure site HR operates within policy and law.
• Manage recruitment campaigns, interviewing, contracts and onboarding.
• Oversee temp agency contracts, timesheets and onboarding.
• Deliver HR and Health & Safety inductions for new staff below management.
• Advise line managers on discipline and grievances; manage investigations.
• Produce reports on headcount, absence, turnover, and safety metrics.
• Coordinate training plans and internal training courses.
• Administer pension scheme and payroll information for starters/leavers.
• Maintain employee files and answer payroll/benefit queries.
• Support internships and continuous improvement in HR administration.
