Job description

HR Officer with strong HR Administration and System Skills

Provide advice, support, and assistance to managers and staff to ensure consistent application and understanding of HR policies and processes, including the interpretation and application of terms and conditions of employment.

Manage processes and administration related to the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, new starter setup, contractual administration, and onboarding.

Support HR Advisors and HR Managers in delivering HR objectives and KPIs aligned with the Organisation's HR Strategy.

Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, providing support or directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.

Offer support and advice to managers on routine casework, recruitment, and training activities.

Maintain online employee records within HR and payroll systems to meet statutory and local reporting requirements.

Coordinate with Payroll and Systems Officers to ensure an integrated and efficient HR/Payroll process.

Represent HR during local consultations on organizational change initiatives, under the guidance of the HR Manager/Advisor.

Provide professional and administrative support for formal processes such as investigations and hearings.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Prepared to study for or already hold a CPP/CIPD qualification (with support).
  • Proven experience working in an HR environment.
  • Experience with a range of IT systems, ideally iTrent Payroll and HR System.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster good working relationships across the organization.
  • Understanding of the employee lifecycle, processes, and procedures.
