Job Title: HR Manager – UK

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes in the UK.

This role supports business needs and ensures the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The position reports to the Global Head of HR and functions largely as an independent contributor with support from offshore HR teams.

What will you do?

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring employees receive regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the global compensation and benefits team to ensure offerings are competitive.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations. Keep up-to-date with HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures. Ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Health and Safety: Promote a safe and healthy work environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • HR Systems and Reporting: Maintain HR systems and records. Generate reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Payroll: Manage the monthly payroll process in collaboration with external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in HR-related field, Psychology, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a matrix organization
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
