Noble Foods Limited is seeking an experienced HR Manager for our Leicester site on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role (4 days on site, 1 day WFH) involves owning the full people agenda across the Leicester site, partnering with senior leaders to deliver practical HR solutions and lead employee relations, workforce planning and change programmes.

Qualifications

• Significant generalist HR experience within manufacturing, food, logistics or another fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong employee relations and change-management experience.
• Solid working knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on HR delivery.
• Strong coaching, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working with people data and HR systems.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders and managers to deliver practical people solutions.
• Lead employee relations activities including absence, performance, capability, disciplinary, grievance and organisational change.
• Coach managers to confidently manage people matters and build capability.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, agency labour and onboarding effectiveness.
• Lead and support restructuring, consultation and organisational change.
• Use people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support site compliance, including the Ethical Agenda and SMETA audits.
• Drive engagement, communication, attendance and accountability.
• Work closely with Payroll, L&D, ER specialists, recruitment and wider HR teams.
• Support the transition towards the future Consumer Foods people operating model.
