A UK-based purpose-driven investment management firm is looking for an HR Manager to be based in their London office for a 14-15 month period. Reporting to the CPO and overseeing an HR Officer and Assistant, you will:

• Act as a trusted business partner, ensuring HR processes across the employee lifecycle are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practices.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, maintaining strong agency partnerships and up-to-date employment documentation.
• Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance/absence management.
• Support the Chief People Officer in managing the HR team’s day-to-day operations and contribute to the delivery of the wider HR and business strategy.
• Lead on HR reporting, policy development, and compliance with employment law and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate learning and development initiatives, annual training programmes, and performance management support.
• Provide cover for payroll administration and assist with reward processes including salary reviews and benchmarking.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience as an HR Manager within Financial Services is essential, ideally within Asset/Wealth Management.

Proven experience across the operational and strategic side of HR, with strong knowledge of ER management and benefits reviews.

Ability to collaborate with the team and advise stakeholders on employee issues, suggesting and implementing ideas for process and policy improvement.
