As the Human Resource Officer, you will play a central role in maintaining efficient HR operations across the school. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, thrives on organisation, and is looking to make a lasting impact in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:As the Human Resource Officer, manage all day-to-day HR administration including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, safer recruitment practices, and GDPR regulations as part of your HR duties.
Provide frontline HR support to staff, responding to queries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist the senior leadership team with performance management, absence monitoring, and staff training coordination.
Help maintain payroll data and liaise with external providers as the school s Human Resource Officer.
Keep up-to-date with employment legislation and HR best practices to inform policy implementation.
Ensure all HR systems are accurate and up to date, supporting the school s operational efficiency.
Previous experience as a Human Resource Officer or in a similar HR support role, ideally within a school or public sector environment.
CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards it is desirable.
Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support staff at all levels.
Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
