Job description

Who are we?

At Technimove, we’re passionate about transforming the way the world’s leading IT service providers manage their data centres. As the market leader in Data Centre Transformations, we deliver high-quality Professional Services and Data Centre Migrations for global clients, from ambitious start-ups to some of the most recognisable names in tech.

Our secret weapon? Our people. Known as our TechniPeople, we’ve built a diverse, supportive, and ambitious team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and passion. Some of our colleagues have been with us for over a decade, while many others are just starting their journey — but all share the same energy, drive, and love for what we do.

The Role:

The HR Manager is responsible for the overall people experience at Technimove. This is a hands-on, 360° HR role , covering recruitment, onboarding, training and development, reward, employee relations and HR administration. The role will work closely with the People & Talent Partner and SLT to deliver an effective and engaging employee experience.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Work closely with the People & Talent Partner to support the end-to-end recruitment process.

  • Take a hands‑on role in CV screening, telephone/video screening, interviews and candidate assessment , providing feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.

  • Support interview coordination, candidate communication, references, pre-employment checks and offers.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Support and coordinate onboarding, including inductions, mandatory training and H&S requirements.

  • Support probation processes and ensure new starters are set up for success.

HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Act as a key point of contact for employee and management HR queries, providing practical and commercially appropriate advice.

  • Support the SLT with disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence and other employee relations matters.

  • Maintain accurate HR records, systems, security clearances and employment documentation.

  • Regularly review HR policies and the employee handbook to ensure compliance with UK legislation.

Learning, Reward & Engagement

  • Support training and development initiatives, including external courses and e-learning.

  • Administer and review compensation and benefits to remain competitive.

  • Gather and analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Work with the SLT on team‑building activities, employee engagement and company events.

  • Promote Technimove’s values of Purpose, People and Passion.

Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Hold fortnightly 1-2-1s with the SLT to discuss people matters and team requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with the People & Talent Partner and SLT on people projects and initiatives.

  • Take ownership of HR tasks and projects from start to finish, identifying and implementing improvements.

  • Be a proactive, hands‑on HR professional who is comfortable getting involved in the detail and doing the work, rather than operating purely in an advisory capacity.

  • Ensure compliance with Technimove’s BMS and data security requirements, raising opportunities for improvement where appropriate.
