The Role

They are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of human resources across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective HR operations, supporting staff well‑being, and fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Manage and maintain accurate personnel records, safeguarding compliance with data protection and safer recruitment requirements.
  • Coordinate training, professional development, and appraisal systems.
  • Support well‑being and staff engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and safer recruitment standards.
  • Lead on HR strategy, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven HR management experience, ideally within the education sector or a similar regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and best HR practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
