Job summary

Blue Tree HR Solutions is seeking an experienced HR professional for a part-time role based in Earls Colne. The position is 16 hours per week over 4 days, with occasional travel to visit clients in Essex, Suffolk and London.

You will advise on performance, disciplinaries, grievances and redundancies, stay up to date with UK employment law, and provide practical support to line managers and clients. CIPD Level 5+ is preferred.

Private health care is provided following a successful probation.

Qualifications

• Produce documentation including letters, contracts and policies.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
• Stay up to date with employment law and ensure compliance.

Job description

Blue Tree HR Solutions is looking for an experienced HR professional to support a range of business clients.

You’ll give clear, practical advice and help clients handle people matters with confidence. You’ll have hands-on experience of grievances, disciplinaries and redundancy processes, along with the judgement to guide people through sensitive situations calmly and fairly.

You’ll enjoy building relationships with clients, getting to know their businesses and finding solutions that work in practice.

This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week over 4 days, based in Earls colne, with occasion travel to visit clients in Essex, Suffolk and London.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee performance issues, providing guidance and support to line managers
• Lead and advise on disciplinary processes, from investigation through to outcome

• Support and administer redundancy processes, including consultation
• Provide clear, practical HR advice to managers and clients

• Keep up to date with employment law and ensure processes remain compliant

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role
• Demonstrable experience handling disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals and redundancies
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with sound judgement and discretion
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) required.
