Job summary

Blue Tree HR Solutions is seeking an experienced HR professional for a part-time role based in Earls Colne. The position is 16 hours per week over 4 days, with occasional travel to visit clients in Essex, Suffolk and London.

You will advise on performance, disciplinaries, grievances and redundancies, stay up to date with UK employment law, and provide practical support to line managers and clients. CIPD Level 5+ is preferred.

Private health care is provided following a successful probation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR management at a senior level.
• Experience handling disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals and redundancies.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee performance issues and guide line managers.
• Lead disciplinary processes from investigation to outcome.
• Handle grievances fairly and in line with policy and law.
• Manage dismissal processes ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
• Support and administer redundancy processes.
• Provide clear HR advice to managers and clients.
• Produce documentation including letters, contracts and policies.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
• Stay up to date with employment law and ensure compliance.
