Job summary

Base Materials Ltd is seeking an HR Officer to join a permanent, full-time team based at onsite sites in Whetstone, Leicester, with occasional visits to Frankley. You will support line managers and employees daily, manage ER casework and end-to-end recruitment, and assist the HR Manager on broader HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate has an HR degree or CIPD Level 5 and at least 2 years in a generalist HR role, with strong employment law knowledge and experience in recruitment-driven environments.

Qualifications

• HR degree or CIPD Level 5 requirement.
• At least 2 years in a similar generalist HR role with strong employment law knowledge.
• Experience in recruitment-heavy role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support to line managers and employees.
• Management of ER casework and coaching managers on best practice.
• End-to-end recruitment responsibilities: sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding.
• Management of the onboarding process.
• Provide general HR support and assist the HR Manager on wider HR initiatives.
