Job summary

Anderson Knight is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an HR Adviser for their Glasgow operation. You will partner with managers across two sites, providing practical, commercially focused HR guidance and shaping local people initiatives that impact engagement and performance.

You will work closely with senior leaders to develop employee experience, balance business needs with people priorities and contribute to the wider People Plan.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR Adviser experience across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting employee relations matters.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice to managers on people matters.
• Coach managers on HR policies and employment law.
• Support employee relations cases (investigations, disciplinary, grievances).
• Manage short- and long-term absence cases.
• Support organisational change and people initiatives.
• Develop local people plans and engagement activities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across sites.
