Job summary

BOCI is seeking a HR Generalist for its UK office to partner with Group HR on recruitment, performance management, training and compensation programs. The role requires managing payroll and benefits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating HR topics with international offices.

Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years in a financial industry HR role, strong UK employment law knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years as a HR generalist with a solid track record in the financial industry.
• Well rounded experience across HR disciplines including compensation and benefits, payroll, and recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and financial industry regulation.
• Experience coordinating HR topics remotely with international offices.
• Ability to work independently in a highly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set deadlines and prioritise.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Group HR to manage and execute full spectrum of HR activities including recruitment, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, vendor management and employee relations.
• Facilitate Group HR to localize globally mandated HR policies and procedures for the UK operations.
• Manage payroll, pension and benefits administration in compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor UK HR regulation changes and propose policy enhancements.
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure staff are processed under Senior Manager Regime requirements.
• Prepare analysis reports for Group HR and management review.
