Job summary

Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HR & Facilities Manager to support a charitable organisation through change and process improvement. The role combines HR administration, recruitment, safeguarding, compliance and facilities management in a busy environment.

You will work with senior management to maintain HR processes, ensure accurate records, and provide first-line guidance while escalating complex matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration, recruitment, office management or a business support environment.
• Good knowledge of HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information appropriately.
• Good understanding of GDPR, data protection and information management.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and safer recruitment practices.
• Experience using HR management systems, databases and Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidential employee records using HR systems (absence, leave, training, contracts).
• Coordinate employee lifecycle: onboarding, probation, changes, starters and leavers.
• Prepare employment documentation and support payroll-related administration.
• Provide first-line HR guidance on policies, recruitment and processes.
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: ads, communications, interviews, onboarding.
• Manage pre-employment checks: references, right-to-work, qualifications, DBS.
