Job summary

The Abbey is seeking a proactive HR Coordinator to support efficient HR administration across the employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on HR systems, data quality and process improvement. The role is Manchester-based with hybrid working, requiring 3 days per week in the office.

You will manage onboarding, changes, promotions and leavers, maintain contracts and records, and ensure GDPR-compliant data. You will update HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors), run HR reports and drive automation and

Qualifications

  • Experience as HR Administrator/Coordinator or in Shared Services.
  • Strong experience with HR systems and managing employee data.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in systems and processes.
  • Desirable: experience with SAP SuccessFactors; payroll/benefits knowledge; GDPR understanding; CIPD (or working towards)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line HR support to employees, managers and HR teams
