About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Organisational Development (OD) specialist to join our HR team at Norfolk County Council. Reporting to the HR Workforce Development Manager, you will play a key role in designing and delivering strategic OD projects that support our people, values, and culture.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence how we engage our workforce, embed our organisational values, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
As our Organisational Development specialist, you will:
- Lead on a range of organisational development projects, including employee engagement, values alignment, and cultural transformation.
- Support the organisation through large-scale transformation, driving significant culture change.
- Collaborate with colleagues across HR and the wider organisation to develop and implement OD strategies.
- Use data and insights to evaluate the impact of OD initiatives and inform future planning.
- Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and engagement activities to support change and development.
- Champion our organisational values and contribute to a positive, inclusive working environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in delivering Organisation Development initiatives within a large organisation.
- Is confident in managing projects and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Brings creativity, curiosity, and a people-centred approach to their work.
- Is passionate about employee engagement, values, and culture.
- Has excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
