Job summary

Sussex Police is seeking Four People Services Casework Consultants to join on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. You will lead and manage cases, providing expert advice to leaders across both Sussex and Surrey Police.

This role supports wellbeing, capability and operational effectiveness within a newly established team. Based at Lewes or Mount Browne with travel across Surrey and Sussex, you will navigate policy, interpret guidance and deliver practical, people-centered solutions in a changing

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong generalist HR background with experience in a specialist People function.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse information and develop practical solutions.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support, advice and guidance on casework activity, working closely with customers and stakeholders.
• Coach and advise, providing expert first-line advice.
• Develop local solutions, outcomes and plans for cases.
• Build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in People Services.
• Manage cases from initial assessment through to resolution with a professional, consistent service.
