The Role
We are currently looking for an HR Business Partner to lead a TUPE project following the acquisition of two dealerships bought by the parent company. There are 600 staff involved, and we are looking for a TUPE specialist to now deliver the work, policing all legal requirements following post-acquisition.

The contract is initially for 6-months (outside IR35) and we will require someone in their Milton Keynes office 2-days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a vast TUPE transfer from beginning to end.
  • Conduct negotiations with representative groups and act as the main point of contact.
  • Design and implement a structured consultation plan.
  • Ensure employees receive effective communication on the TUPE process.
  • Identify risks and manage all TUPE documentation.
  • Orchestrate a range of change processes.
  • Partner with enabling functions, such as transformation, internal communications and legal, to ensure holistic change management.
  • Work closely with CoE within the People & Culture function to bring these areas of expertise in and support them in integrating their processes.
  • Navigating ambiguity to develop and apply clear, actionable plans as information evolves.
  • Supporting and advising on employee relations, policy development, systems and broader people projects.
  • Manage the communication of change initiatives with sensitivity and consideration, recognising and addressing a spectrum of stakeholder response.
Experience and requirements:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the full generalist TUPE background from building relationships to the strategic and technical side of TUPE as well as experience in change management and be adaptable to pace.
