Job summary

Artis HR is supporting a large organisation in finding an experienced HR Business Partner for a 12-month maternity cover. The role works with operational leaders to influence decisions and drive effective people practices across a complex, multi-site business.

Based in Manchester with travel to other locations, the role offers a competitive package including a salary of £50,000-£65,000, a car allowance, pension, and 25 days’ annual leave plus birthday leave.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at HR Business Partner level.
• Experience supporting larger-scale, multi-site operations within the private sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and deliver difficult messages.
• A sound understanding of employee relations and wider HR practices.
• A flexible, practical approach and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
• Experience within facilities management, outsourced services or a similarly complex operational environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational stakeholders to support delivery of people plans and provide practical HR guidance.
• Ensure policies and processes are implemented effectively across multiple sites.
• Build strong relationships with managers and confidently challenge where needed.
• Support employee relations, talent, learning and development, and reward activities.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues on more complex cases.
