Artis HR is supporting a large organisation in finding an experienced HR Business Partner for a 12-month maternity cover. The role works with operational leaders to influence decisions and drive effective people practices across a complex, multi-site business.

Based in Manchester with travel to other locations, the role offers a competitive package including a salary of £50,000-£65,000, a car allowance, pension, and 25 days’ annual leave plus birthday leave.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at HR Business Partner level.
• Experience supporting larger-scale, multi-site operations within the private sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and deliver difficult messages.
• A sound understanding of employee relations and wider HR practices.
• A flexible, practical approach and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
• Experience within facilities management, outsourced services or a similarly complex operational environment would be beneficial.

Artis HR are supporting a large organisation in the search for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover.

This is a great opportunity for an established HRBP who enjoys working closely with operational leaders, influencing decisions and helping drive effective people practices across a complex, multi-site business.

The role

Working as part of a wider HR team, you'll partner with operational stakeholders to support the delivery of people plans, provide practical HR guidance and ensure policies and processes are implemented effectively. You'll build strong relationships with managers, confidently challenge where needed and support a range of people matters, including employee relations, talent, learning and development, and reward. You'll also work alongside HR colleagues and specialist teams on more complex cases.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating at HR Business Partner level, with the ability to work independently from day one.
• Experience supporting larger-scale, multi-site operations within the private sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and deliver difficult messages.
• A sound understanding of employee relations and wider HR practices.
• CIPD qualification.
• A flexible, practical approach and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment.

Location and package

The role will be based around Manchester, with a requirement to spend approximately three days per week in the office or on site. Travel to other locations, including Birmingham and Lincoln, will be required, with occasional travel to London. The package includes a salary of £50,000-£65,000, a car allowance, pension, 25 days' annual leave plus birthday leave, and additional benefits. This is a 12-month maternity cover, with a preferred start date before the end of December.
