Job summary

ProCook Ltd is hiring an experienced HR Business Partner to support growth with expert guidance on employee relations. You will advise regional managers and handle complex ER cases while ensuring legal compliance under UK employment law. The role is permanent, full-time, and hybrid with 3 days in Gloucester office and 2 days remote.

Key responsibilities include coaching managers on ER issues, leading investigations, and delivering ER training. CIPD qualification is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a workforce of 750+ colleagues, ideally in Retail or Hospitality.
• Coaching and mentoring managers on ER issues.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Ability to influence and drive positive change in the organisation.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• CIPD qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on managing underperformance and performance improvement plans.
• Lead investigations and disciplinary processes with high-quality reports.
• Deliver support across ER matters including disciplinary, grievances, flexible working, sickness absence, contractual queries and policy interpretation.
• Advise Regional Managers and provide commercially focused ER guidance across the business.
• Coach and guide a newly appointed HR role on people processes and lifecycle activities.
• Coach line managers on ER issues to ensure consistent best practice.
• Maintain case management records and provide insights via data reporting and trend analysis.
• Design and deliver employee relations training for managers.
• Stay up to date with employment law developments and HR best practices.
• Support creation, review and implementation of policies aligned with ProCook values.
