Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner with specialist Employee Relations expertise to lead the day-to-day people agenda across a multi-site business services environment in the UK. You will work with operational stakeholders, advising on complex ER issues and shaping policy and people capability.

You will partner with leadership to manage high-risk cases, coach managers, and drive continuous improvement while aligning HR processes with business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong Employee Relations experience at HRBP or People Partner level.
• Experience managing complex and high-risk ER cases.
• Commercial, pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Experience supporting operational or multi-site environments.
• Confidence influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absences and sensitive employee matters.
• Partner with managers to provide pragmatic commercial advice.
• Coach and develop management capability.
• Review and improve ER policies and processes.
• Support organisational change and restructuring activity.
• Monitor trends and recommend improvements to reduce risk and improve employee experience.
• Line manage and develop a People Advisor.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple sites.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will lead the day-to-day people agenda for a Business Services organisation, helping managers make clear and practical workforce decisions. You will work closely with the Human Resources function to keep people processes aligned with business needs.

I'm currently recruiting a Senior People Business Partner (Employee Relations). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ER specialist who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and making a tangible impact across a geographically dispersed workforce.

Description

Reporting to the People leadership team, you will take the lead on complex employee relations matters whilst supporting managers across a diverse operational business. This is a highly visible role where you'll combine hands‑on case management with coaching, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Job Offer

Salary of £55,000 - £65,000

• Travel to sites is fully supported through pre-booked rail/public transport or mileage reimbursement (currently 32p per mile)
