HR Business Partner – Corporate Services
Hayes, West London (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Full-time, Permanent
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Summary
Tide Partnership is proud to be working with a well-established national health and social care provider to recruit a HR Business Partner to support their corporate services teams – including Finance, Marketing, Maintenance, Estates, and other central functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strongemployee relations (ER) experience who genuinely enjoys getting under the skin of people matters and owning ER casework in a busy, operationally focused part of the business. While the role includes involvement in broader strategic projects, ER is at the heart of this position – and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that space.
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you’ll take the lead on all employee relations activity for the corporate services division, supporting around 350 employees. The caseload isn’t overwhelming, but you’ll need to be confident, credible, and hands-on when it comes to ER – including matters like absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and parental leave.
You’ll also contribute to strategic people projects such as compensation and benefits, internal engagement initiatives, and policy development. In addition, you’ll coordinate learning and development compliance for the estates and wider corporate teams, and offer occasional cover for the sponsorship lead (experience in this area is advantageous but not essential).
This is a great step for an experienced HR Advisor or ER-focused professional who wants to grow their strategic exposure without moving away from the ER work they enjoy.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage all ER casework within corporate services (e.g. absence, disciplinary, grievance, maternity/parental leave).
- Be the go-to ER advisor, coaching and supporting managers with clarity and confidence.
- Contribute to people initiatives such as compensation & benefits reviews and corporate strategy projects.
- Coordinate mandatory and compliance-related training across the estates and corporate services functions.
- Support (and provide cover) for visa sponsorship processes, with guidance and training if required.
- Build strong relationships across teams and ensure fair, consistent HR practice.
- Escalate complex ER issues as needed, with support from the wider HR team.
Benefits Include- Competitive salary and flexible hybrid working (3 days in Uxbridge, 2 days from home)
- A visible, valued position where you’ll truly own your remit
- A balance of day-to-day operational HR and exciting strategic project work
- Supportive culture with a collaborative and people-focused leadership team
Essential Criteria- Strong, hands-on experience in employee relations casework (e.g. as a HR Advisor or ER-focused HRBP).
- Clear understanding of UK employment law and best practice.
- Confidence working with corporate functions in high-volume or operational settings.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- A passion for ER – this should be something you enjoy, not just tolerate.
- Awareness of sponsorship and right-to-work processes (you don’t need to be a specialist).
Desirable Criteria- Experience in healthcare, social care, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to estates, facilities, or compliance-focused teams.
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards it.
