We're working in partnership with a local authority in the Hackney area, who are searching for an experienced HR Business Partner to work within the Education / Schools Department.

Contract: Initially 4-6 months, with potential for a permanent role.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Location: E8. (Hybrid working will be available)

Pay Rate: Starting from £29+ per hour (Negotiable based on experience).

About The Role:

• Work in partnership with key decision-makers within the Trust and schools, providing professional, high-quality HR advice and support to ensure effective people management that contributes to raising standards of organisational effectiveness.
• Provide a high-quality, comprehensive service within the Trust and to schools in accordance with agreements in place.
• Offer accurate and effective advice to enable management in the Trust and schools to handle a broad range of people management matters, including recruitment, employee relations, performance, and attendance.
• Manage complex individual cases and transformational change processes, providing specialist advice in workforce planning and organisational design.
• Provide high-quality HR advice to staff within the Trust.
• Work with the Head of Human Resources to review and update policies and procedures in line with legislative frameworks and best practices.
• Fully integrate equality issues, best practices, and value-for-money principles within all aspects of service delivery.

Experience Needed:

• Local Authority / Public Sector background.
• HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience within the Education Sector.

Qualification Needed:

• CIPD qualified or equivalent.
