Job summary

The HR Assistant role provides first line HR support across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on payroll cut-offs and data accuracy. You will work closely with HRES, recruitment, and HRIS teams to ensure smooth onboarding and processes.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with experience in Workday HR and a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Hybrid working is available in Milton Keynes.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-focused HR service across the employee lifecycle.
• Advise on Workday HR and promote self service capability.
• Follow up actions and queries to ensure payroll readiness.
• Collaborate with HRES to improve processes and drive efficiency.
• Coordinate with Recruitment to manage the applicant-to-start process.
• Collaborate with HRBP, reward, payroll, learning and HRIS teams.
• Validate data: roles, teams, cost centres.
• Make decisions on prioritisation to meet service standards.
• Work within GDPR, handle data requests and confidentiality.
