Job description

Age UK is recruiting for a proven HR Assistant on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role you will support the HR Team to deliver the highest possible standards of service to our internal customers (employees) across the charity.

With an understanding of employment law, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and customer focused HR administration service.

You will play a vital supporting role covering the HR processes associated with an employee life cycle including, probation, flexible working requests, termination and any other contractual changes, you will ensure that all relevant changes are communicated to the relevant teams and appropriate HR systems are updated.

Supporting the delivery of a customer focused HR service, including employee relations, recruitment, training, HR operations and payroll, employee wellbeing, culture, DEI and safeguarding. You will have the opportunity to liaise with our employees and managers, responding to a wide range of HR related queries and escalating any complex employee queries to a more senior member of the HR Team.

We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our Warrington office. Your travel costs to the Warrington office are not covered by the charity.

Ability to produce professional and accurate letters/emails for internal customers - T
