Our current vacancy is for a Modern Apprentice within the HR Department. This opportunity is open only to applicants aged 16 – 24 years.
Modern Apprentice
HR Assistant
37 hours per week (full time)
Permanent Contract
AFC Band 2 £25,694 - £27,900 (Annex 21) per annum, plus
Distant Island Allowance of £2,380 per annum
Working alongside the HR team, the successful candidate will be supported in learning how to maintain a range of operational services and system updates. The role of a HR Assistant includes manual assisting with recruitment co-ordination, data and system input and updates. All of this whilst working towards gaining a recognised qualification which will enable you to develop towards future careers.
You will be employed on a permanent contract with the requirement to work through a structured training programme towards achieving the Diploma in Digital Applications Support SCQF Level 6
You will need to be enthusiastic with good experience with all Microsoft office packages, good communication skills and a strong team work ethic. You must also demonstrate in your application that you possess good written communication skills, are highly motivated, and are hardworking with good attention to detail. You will need strong inter-personal and organisational skills and demonstrate self-motivation and self-reliance. You will be keen to help out, flexible in your approach and committed to completing the training programme.
Applicants must have achieved or, at the time of interview, be working towards
3 National 4 qualifications (or SCQF equivalent) which must include Maths and a literary subject (English, History, Modern Studies).
