Role Overview

As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions across the business. You will assist in recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, and HR administration, helping to create an efficient and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling
  • Preparing and managing employee documents, including contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials
  • Maintaining and updating HR records and employee databases in line with GDPR regulations
  • Supporting payroll processes by tracking employee attendance, leave, and contract updates
  • Assisting in organising training and development programs for employees
  • Handling employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures
  • Supporting HR projects such as wellbeing initiatives, employee engagement activities, and performance management processes
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies

What We Are Looking For

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is an advantage but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems (or willingness to learn)
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
