Dalkia Energy Services Ltd in Bridgwater is seeking an HR Assistant to provide practical support across the HR function, focusing on employee relations and the efficient delivery of people processes. You will work with the HR Advisor to handle casework, attend meetings, and ensure accurate minutes and documentation.
You will coordinate end-to-end onboarding, manage pre-employment checks, maintain employee records, and support GDPR compliance, reporting, and HR systems.

Summary of Role:
The HR Assistant provides practical, professional support across the Human Resources function, with a particular focus on employee relations and the effective delivery of people processes. Working closely with the HR Advisor and wider HR team, the role will support formal and informal HR casework, attend meetings and hearings, produce accurate minutes and associated documentation, and help ensure matters are progressed consistently, fairly and in line with company procedures.
Alongside this, the HR Assistant will play a key role in the effective delivery of the employee lifecycle, including coordinating the end-to-end onboarding of new starters and staff transfers. The post holder will work closely with HR colleagues, hiring managers, employees and external providers to ensure onboarding and associated compliance requirements are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
The role will also support the maintenance of accurate employee records and HR systems, reporting and general HR processes, ensuring employee information is accurate, confidential, accessible and audit ready, and that HR activities comply with company, client and regulatory requirements.
