Job summary

News UK is offering an HR Apprenticeship in London, spanning two years with four days at News UK and one day dedicated to studying toward a fully funded Level 5 CIPD qualification. You will rotate through Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Diversity while gaining hands-on experience.

You will be mentored by industry professionals and receive tailored support to reach your full potential in a fast-paced People team environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year HR apprenticeship with CIPD Level 5
• Experience supporting Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly to streamline daily tasks
• Attention to detail in records and data management

Responsibilities

• Support with all advertising of vacancies, including drafting job adverts
• Maintain the applicant tracking system and manage daily workflows
• Assist the TA team in sourcing and screening candidates
• Coordinate the company-wide induction programme for new joiners
• Support Learning & Development by coordinating events and training schedules
• Manage central mailboxes and respond to employee queries
• Administer systems within the Learning Management System
• Support Diversity team in organising cultural calendar events
• Work on Early Talent programmes and outreach activities
• Support payments and processes
