DP World is seeking an HR Apprentice to join the People team at London Gateway on a 2-year fixed-term contract. You will own the new starter process, work with managers and senior stakeholders, and gain hands-on experience in HR administration within a growing team.

You will receive development support, work on a broad range of HR activities, and have the opportunity to study while you work. No extensive HR experience is required, just a proactive and professional approach.

• Own the new starter process from offer to onboarding, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare employment contracts and pre-employment documents.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks and background verifications.
• Organise induction activities with hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems in line with GDPR.
• Provide support on routine HR queries and assist with HR audits.
