Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology in Glasgow is seeking a motivated individual to join the UK HR team on a structured HR apprenticeship. You will gain practical experience across recruitment, records, onboarding, learning and development while pursuing a BA [Hons] in Business Management with HR.

You will handle onboarding, HR administration, attendance, ER matters and office tasks, with training and support from experienced HR professionals and a clear development path.

Qualifications

• Essential: Genuine interest in HR and people management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Basic IT and digital skills.
• Commitment to completing the relevant apprenticeship qualification.
• 4 Higher Grades at ABBB respectively, one of which must be English

Responsibilities

• Processing the administration of sickness absence across UK sites and logging absences.
• Compiling monthly HR KPIs for all UK sites and submitting to VP, HR.
• Conducting onboarding for UK sites for new starts.
• Administering terminations, logging on HR trackers, issuing letters, and coordinating exit interviews.
• Logging exit interview data and reporting trends.
• Maintaining HR trackers and handling Employee Relations issues.
• Assisting line managers with ER and absence case management and hearings.
• Raising Position Requisition forms for backfill roles after approvals.
• Providing support in hearings and investigations including note-taking.
• Providing administrative support across HR and preparing HR documents and letters.
• Attending ad hoc meetings and assisting with flexible working requests and HR projects.
• Assisting employee engagement initiatives and HR surveys.
• Maintaining compliance with company policies and Scottish Engineering guidance.
• Undertaking general administrative duties and ad hoc projects as required
