Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an HR AI Solution Architect focused on HR Transformation as part of the Global HR and Talent Transformation CoC. You will lead AI-enabled architectures across HR processes, aligning with delivery teams and clients to scale impact.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise AI for HR, deep experience with Workday/SAP/Oracle, and hands-on design of GenAI, tooling, and governance. You will work with clients, run workshops, and translate technology into scalable business

Qualifications

• +8 years' experience in enterprise AI and HR tech architecture.
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft, IBM watsonx, Google, AWS).
• Agentic tool design: function calling, tool registries, MCP protocol exposure.
• Workflow orchestration and process automation.
• Data architectures and knowledge management.
• LLM integration patterns: RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding pipelines.
• API/integration patterns across core HCM platforms.
• Observability, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
• AI/agent-based architecture principles and their enterprise implications.
• AI related and core HR Technology Transformation expertise having worked for a top tier Global Management consulting firm and/or complex global organisation.
• Deep experience with HR/ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Design AI-enabled architectures addressing HR process and operating challenges, partnering with delivery teams and clients to scale impact.
• Inspire clients by demonstrating innovative AI in HR and IBM’s transformation journey.
• Apply hands-on expertise in integration and modern architecture design with domain-driven and component-based approaches.
• Leverage HR platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow) to solve complex business problems.
• Consider cloud-based software design, data handling, observability, and audit readiness.
• Develop best practices, reference architectures, and educate clients through workshops and communities.
• Translate technology into tangible business solutions including cloud-native GenAI patterns.
• Lead discovery and design workshops for ROI, prioritization, and future-state processes.
