We are looking for an HR Advisor in Manchester to act as a generalist, ensuring HR duties are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards.
• Experience in HR administration or coordination.
• Understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
• Experience supporting Employee Relations casework.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Confidentiality and discretion when handling information.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and compliant employee records across HR systems, databases and personnel files.
• Support the employee lifecycle, including contracts, contractual changes, onboarding and inductions.
• Administer employee benefits, payroll changes, salary reviews and monthly absence reporting.
• Coordinate wellbeing, DSE assessments, welfare support and occupational health referrals where required.
• Provide first-line advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures and employment matters.
• Support and coordinate employee relations casework, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence and welfare processes.
• Manage People Team enquiries, ensuring a responsive and high-quality service to colleagues and managers.
• Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities and company-wide people projects.
