Job summary

Latus Group is expanding its Occupational Health team and seeks an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to deliver high-quality services remotely, with client visits as required.

You will conduct sickness absence assessments, advise on fitness for work, and support safe returns to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

The role offers up to £45k DOE, 25 days annual leave, Bupa, life insurance, pension and wellbeing benefits, with strong opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Occupational Health qualification or significant Occupational Health experience.
• Competent in venipuncture, health surveillance and clinical assessment.
• Strong case management and fitness-for-work experience.
• Exceptional communication and report-writing skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Compassionate, proactive and employee-focused approach.

Responsibilities

We're expanding our Occupational Health team and are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to support our existing clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build trusted relationships while delivering impactful Occupational Health services.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting management referrals and sickness absence assessments
• Providing balanced, practical fitness for work advice
• Supporting employees with safe and sustainable returns to work
• Advising on reasonable workplace adjustments
• Producing high-quality reports that help managers make informed decisions
• Providing ongoing support where continuity of care benefits the individual

Key Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
• Occupational Health qualification, or significant Occupational Health experience
• Competent in venipuncture, health surveillance and clinical assessment
• Strong case management and fitness-for-work experience
• Exceptional communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels

• Self-motivated, with the confidence to work independently while remaining connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team
