Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Ledbury team. You will support managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, provide practical HR guidance, and help ensure compliance with employment legislation.

The role covers employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation and HR administration, with opportunities for development within a hands-on generalist position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a HR Advisor/HR Officer role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Experience supporting employee relations activities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases.
• Conduct investigations and assist with formal HR meetings.
• Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies and interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding, inductions and probation reviews.
• Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters and HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Support payroll administration and provide information to payroll providers.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate training activities and maintain training records.
• Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Produce HR reports and administration as required.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Work with managers to support development and performance.
