Job summary

Morson Group is a UK-based technical recruitment specialist seeking an HR Advisor to provide proactive HR support across the business and act as a trusted first contact for managers and employees on day-to-day people matters.

The role focuses on delivering consistent employee relations advice, building line manager capability, and supporting a positive, high-performing culture across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Advisory / Assistant HR role
• Practical experience managing ER cases
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Ability to build relationships and influence managers with confidence and credibility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
• CIPD Level 3 (ideally working towards Level 5)

Responsibilities

• ER matters management and escalation for complexity or risk
• Support managers to handle people issues confidently and fairly
• Prepare documentation, meeting notes and outcome letters in line with policy
• Escalate cases to senior team when needed
• Participate in ER case reviews and learning sessions
• Accurately record and maintain all ER cases and outcomes
• Build relationships with stakeholders and provide proactive HR support
• Support managers on performance management, conduct and consultation
• Assist with HR policy/templates and learning resources
• Collaborate with HR Shared Services to ensure smooth processes
