Job summary

MCS Group is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-paced manufacturing site in Northern Ireland. You will provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, and learning and development.

You will work closely with managers, handle employee relations cases, support absence management and wellbeing, maintain records in line with GDPR, and help ensure compliance with employment legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Advisor, HR consultant or similar role.
• CIPD qualification or working towards is advantageous.
• Experience with HR systems.
• Knowledge of employment legislation.
• Experience working in manufacturing or FMCG is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, focusing on employee relations, performance and learning and development.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
• Manage employee relations cases from inception through to resolution, ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
• Support absence management processes, return-to-work meetings and occupational health referrals.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in line with GDPR and company requirements.
• Promote employee wellbeing and health and safety within a positive employee relations culture.
