Michael Page is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a fast-paced manufacturing site in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. The role provides HR support across functions and partners with site leadership to drive productivity and HR KPI delivery.

Travel across UK sites is required. The position offers a permanent contract with a salary up to £45,000 per year and a collaborative, supportive environment to foster people initiatives and development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR support and queries.
• Partner with site leadership to drive productivity and HR KPI delivery.
• Coach managers on HR policies and absence management.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and policy application.
• Maintain HR policies and documentation in line with best practice.
• Assist with HR projects and management development programmes.
• Promote company values and support delivery of HR priorities.
• Identify and escalate HR risks where appropriate.
• Travel across UK sites as required.

Description

• Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR support and employee queries.
• Partner with site leadership to drive productivity, people initiatives, and HR KPI delivery.
• Support and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and people processes, including absence management.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and legislation.
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in line with best practice and legal requirements.
• Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and management development programmes to support the wider people plan.
• Promote company values and support the successful delivery of HR priorities across the site.
• Identify and escape HR risks where appropriate.
• Travel across UK sites as required.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

Essential:

• Previous experience of working in a HR role within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of UK employment law and experience managing ER cases.
• Self-motivated to prioritise and manage own workload
• Ability to prioritise own workload in a fast -paced environment
• Ability to interact at all levels of the business
• Full driving license (requirement for UK travel)
