Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC is seeking a confident HR Advisor to join our Haydock-based Human Resources team. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to support managers and employees across multiple business areas.

You will provide expert guidance on employee relations, ensure policy compliance, and help drive strategic HR initiatives, including restructures and change programmes. CIPD qualification preferred, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with broad generalist HR experience.
• Confident guiding managers and employees across ER cases.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders on employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievances, absence, performance).
• Support managers in resolving issues early and informally where possible.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
• Identify ER trends using data to drive actions.
• Collaborate with HR partners on strategic HR initiatives and policy development.
