First Bus is hiring a People Advisor in Leeds to act as the first point of contact for managers on employee relations, absence and performance issues. The role reports to the Head of People Operations and supports policy development, monitoring ER trends and delivering training materials.

You will collaborate with People Advisory Partners and site managers to ensure compliant practice and a proactive ER agenda across the organisation. CIPD qualification and unionised experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally in a unionised environment.
• CIPD qualified with a strong knowledge of employment legislation (desirable).
• A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with employees, managers, and leaders at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Advising and guiding managers on ER, absence and performance management.
• Assist with providing advice to managers on employment matters and resolve issues.
• Work with People Advisory Partners on local policies, procedures and current legislation.
