HR Advisor: Employee Relations & People Support

Job summary

Artis Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the People Team. You will provide high-quality HR advice to managers, focusing on employee relations across multiple sites and travel between locations.

You will coach managers through complex cases, ensure policy compliance and maintain accurate HR records. A strong UK employment law knowledge base and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills with manager stakeholders.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely HR advice to managers and colleagues while ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
• Coach managers through employee relations processes including absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Support health and wellbeing matters, coordinating with Occupational Health and other providers.
• Maintain accurate records and provide MI to help monitor team performance.
• Identify people-related risks and escalate to HR Business Partners as needed.
• Collaborate with HRBPs to improve policies, processes and systems.
• Support change projects and broader People Team initiatives.
• Deliver HR briefings and training to managers and staff on policies and procedures.
• Develop People Service Assistants to respond to routine employee relations queries.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including Trade Union reps.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and safe working environment.
