Job summary

Artis Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the People Team. You will provide high-quality HR advice to managers, coach through employee relations cases, and ensure decisions comply with UK employment legislation.

The role supports multiple locations and requires travel between sites, offering a fast-paced, operational environment and the opportunity to shape the employee experience. A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong communication

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or above or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing complex employee relations casework.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to travel between sites and work across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely HR advice to managers and colleagues on employee relations and policies.
• Coach and support managers through informal and formal employee relations processes (absence, investigations, disciplinary, grievances).
• Ensure advice is consistent with policies and employment law, while handling sensitive situations with discretion.
• Maintain accurate employee relations records and provide MI to managers.
• Identify and manage potential people-related risks and escalate as needed.
• Work with HRBPs to improve people policies, processes and systems.
• Support organisational change projects and deliver HR training and briefings.
• Develop People Service Assistants in responding to lower-level employee relations queries.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including Trade Union representatives.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and safe working environment.
