Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy HR team supporting a well-established organisation across multiple sites with 500+ employees. You will report to the Head of Human Resources and deliver a professional HR service across Directors, Managers and staff.

This hands-on role requires practical HR advice, accurate records, and strong compliance with employment law. Office-based, Monday–Friday hours, with opportunities to contribute to HR projects and policy updates.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification and HR advisory experience.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse HR data.
• Proficient with HR systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and meticulous record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice to Managers and employees on HR matters.
• Support recruitment activity and HR administration.
• Draft employee communications and reports with accuracy.
• Maintain electronic HR files and ensure data quality.
• Analyse HR data and generate clear information as needed.
• Develop and maintain HR policies with the team.
• Work with the HR function to deliver a responsive service.
• Travel to other sites as required.
