Virgin Active is evolving into Social Wellness Clubs and seeks a People Advisor (FTC, 40 hours) to deliver expert HR guidance across the business, ensuring a compliant, high‑performing workplace and a positive employee experience.

Reporting to the People Team, you’ll advise managers on absence management, disciplinaries, policy application, health referrals and wellbeing initiatives, while helping to develop our people and culture.

Formación

• Experience in HR advisory or generalist role in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations case management.
• Experience managing complex HR cases including absence, disciplinary and grievance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence managers.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; proactive with a solutions-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert HR advice to managers on employee relations matters.
• Support managers in applying People policies and employment legislation.
• Manage Occupational Health referrals and wellbeing initiatives as required.
• Analyse People data and trends to improve employee experience and business performance.
• Deliver People training and coach managers to build confidence and capability.
• Review and enhance People processes, policies and ways of working.
• Support organisational change initiatives including restructures, TUPE and redundancy.
• Champion Virgin Active values to foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.
