Job summary

GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the NHS Supply Chain contract in Bury St. Edmunds. On-site role partnering with managers to provide expert Employee Relations support and ensure compliant HR practices across the site.

The position is full-time with standard hours, offering a competitive salary up to £30,000 plus a benefits package including pension, private medical and dental insurance, GP service, life assurance, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualified with experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong focus on employee relations and policy application.
• Proactive, customer-focused HR practitioner with data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinary and absence cases.
• Coach managers on HR policies, employment law and case management best practices.
• Monitor absence trends and collaborate with Occupational Health to improve attendance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration activities.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and continuous HR process improvements.
